{GEEZ-o-peet!}

I am floored.... Not flattered, just floored.... My old business partner and I spent hours back and forth with our designer to come up with our cute little logo... I cannot imagine that someone would have the very same idea in their head as the 3 of us did... Amazing, HUH?

The Copy Cat...

The Original Birdies... That were copied...

Kiki and Lele Boutique Hand-crafted Jewelry

The original branch, that was copied...

This is where she got the birds from... The nest and branch are from my design and the birdies are stolen from this lady... This lady has also had the pleasure of having some of her painting designs ripped off as well...

Not sure what to do. I have contacted the designer to see what she thinks... There is most likely nothing that I can do. Unfortunately, this is not the only design that this person has copied... The lady that tipped me off had had several of her designs copied {ripped- off} by this lady... I am just thankful that it was not the jewelry designs that I work hard on that she copied...

Any Advice?

Funny, this lady actually inspired me to write an article on my blog on Sunday, she copies my good friend CONSTANTLY and she has gone as far as copying entire websites, including pictures, from other sellers. Can you send her a legal letter?? I would! If you want to read my article, it's on my blog www.natitysdesign.blogspot.com, I hope she learns a good lesson with this. :(

THis is the pits! Unfortunatley it's one of the bad things with the internet. I would post a creative commons notice to her, and have a link on your site so that people know they're not to copy your content.

It's really not on, and I would be sending her FREQUENT emails letting her know your displeasure in what she's done, as well as comments on her blog letting the world know what she's done.

Unfortunately there's no 'higher power' that you can go and tell with these things. Your other option is to make your blog private, and ask people to email you and ask for permission to read it... doesn't necessarily mean that she won't ask though!

Wish I could have been of more help!
